Portland & Dallas

The rain and wind and gloom and drear are here at last so I get to listen to the drizzly wind knock against the windows and rip through the trees. I've been improving quite a lot on my art - trees and mountains, maps and landscapes - to the point where I'm almost ready to make prints and reach out to shops around Portland to see if they would sell them as bookmarks, coasters, or some kind of small framed situation. In the meantime I'll print them out and frame them in my new home. I don't know why I didn't start drawing these subjects sooner; I was caught on the idea that I had to master human forms before anything else, and those were intimidating and require a lot of study. Trees and mountains though? You can make those after some practice. I should make an art section on this site soon.
