They screamed down the twisted hilly runways of Hejnhxgebn Canyon Drive, the Pacific glinting down there beneath the blurry white ball of the moon. Maxxer couldn't look at the ocean for long. Not tonight! Tonight we're on ecstasy. Jennifer pulled herself out of the wind, hoarse and WINDED, a soundtrack of adrenaline and fear improvising itself in her brain. She'd done this before - ONCE. But this was good. Better. The best memories are made of adrenaline and fear. Anyone falling in love knows it. She settled into the passenger seat as Maxxer slowed down, emerging from the dark mountains and onto the ocean boulevard. She replayed the evening; the last few hours were a blur of fun. Fantasies unfolded. The sea air brimmed with freedom and potential. "I love you!"
Maxxer grinned, his long hair flashing around him in the breeze as a slow cold shock rippled in his chest. Naming it was sorcery.
