Link pushed the big block over the switch and it dropped in with a short, satisfying click. On the other side of the chamber, a gate opened!
"Finally," he muttered. He'd been stuck on this puzzle for a day and a half. He was going nuts. Six weeks now in the Mountain Place Temple, pushing blocks all over and stepping on switches. He had seen no sunlight. He had enough food of course. You always have food. You don't have patience. And six weeks of the Mountain Place Temple meant he had no more patience!!!! But now, he could move forward.
A bat swooped in on him and was immediately cut to pieces. Another bat swooped in on him from the other side and that one was cut to pieces also. A third bat came roaring in on him from the front, and that was cut to pieces. "Action!" shouted Link!! Time to fight.
A big old bad guy came charging from the darkness and Link engaged it head-on. It was great! The fight lasted forever and Link drew it out, siphoning every ounce of power he could. It made no sense. One minute he was in the Chamber of the Dark Land and the next he was out of it, swinging his sword and wondering things like "When? Where? Why?" Who? Whho? Whol ? Whom??? Whommmmmm???????? Whommmmmmmm????????FFFFFFFF Ehwom?????"
The lanterns on the walls of the temple did not exist, so Link was fighting in pure darkness. "And that's fine," said Link, slicing through a bat, "I enjoy the darkness. It's fine."
More blocks clicked into place. Switches changed from yellow to blue. The gates opened and Link plunged deeper into the Mountain Place Temple. He needed to do everything there was to do in this temple. He explored every room and wrote his name on every wall.
Another bat came down on him, this time clicking and chattering with the cold. Link heated it up by blasting it with his Fire Sword. He ended this scene because it wasn't anything special. It was just a scene. No need to keep it going. Eventually Link would realize this and abort the Mountain Place Temple. Thanks for reading.
